For divers residing outside of the U.S., bank transfer are the preferred method  of payment. 

Payment Schedule for these 7 night dive trips  (9 nights including the overnights on the mainland)
$500 due at the time of booking to hold the space.
$500  9 months prior to the departure date
$1000  4 months prior to the departure date
Balance due 3 months prior to departure date

Checks should be made out to Galapagos Adventures, Inc. The balance of your trip can be made at anytime.
Please note that the amount of deposit required to hold a space is the total amount due at the time of booking based on the schedule above.  For example, if you are booking a 7 night dive trip that is 6 months away, the deposit would be $1000 per person. 

Galapagos Adventures does not accept credit cards.   Why not ?

Cancellation penalties:
As this is a charter and the price of the charter does not vary with the number of passengers, we will need as much time as possible to replace you should you decide to cancel on this trip. Therefore there are very steep cancellation penalties in effect once we get within 120 days or once the trip is advertised as "Sold out".

If the trip is not sold out when you cancel the following policy is in effect:
120 or more days prior to departure - $150 per person penalty
*91 - 119 days prior to departure - $1200 per person penalty
*61 - 90 days prior to departure - $1800 per person
*60 days or less - the full amount is forfeited.

Once the trip is advertised as being sold out, the entire deposit is forfeited unless the space is resold. If the space is resold for the full amount, you would be refunded in full, minus $150. If the trip has to be discounted in order to be resold then you will be refunded your deposit minus the discount amount, minus $150.  No refund can be offered for cancellations that occur 60 days or less prior to departure.
