This trip was certainly more unique than any other I have experienced.  The combination of both land excursions and diving are complementary.  The land tours are fascinating and the guides do an excellent job educating the group.  I can not say enough about the diving.  Diving at Darwin is a diver's dream; its absolutely phenomenal in both quantity and quality of large animals.

The diving at Darwin offers the most dense marine life possible, it was my best dive experience.  More importantly, Galapagos Adventures  makes every effort to ensure that your trip runs smoothly, even if it means rearranging the itinerary.

Whale sharks, hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, dolphins, sea lions, marine turtles, eagle rays and moray eels all in one place.  What more could a diver ask for?  This trip definitely exceeded all of my expectations.

The trip was wonderful. The guides were informative. This is one of the best trips I have ever taken . Galapagos is awesome and I highly recommend Ken and his whole operation.                       John O'Connor

Unforgettable! Ken and the crew go out of their way to make it a memorable trip. Traveling in these parts of the world can be unpredictable and Galapagos Adventures made sure everything ran smoothly.  Whale sharks, hammerheads, penguins, etc, etc, what more could one ask for? Thanks Ken for an amazing trip. Highly recommended. If you are from Europe, ignore Ken's remarks about COLD, COLD, COLD water - the lowest temperature recorded was 20 degrees Calceus and the highest 26 degrees Calceus - no problem. We certainly envy Ruth and Tom who are coming back in July 2001.....

What more can we say about the Galapagos trip with Galapagos Adventures?  Darwin was everything that we hoped for and more (whale sharks on three out of three dives the first day there).  Even snorkeling turned out to be a blast...shot a whole role of film on a penguin feeding and posing for us.  The guides were both educational and fun to dive with....thanks Ruly and Fabricio.  We've chartered the dive yacht "Millennium" for next summer, and can't wait to come back.  Can't get enough hammerhead shots!

It's 6:00 PM, you're on the 405 coming home from another day at work.  You spent the last 9 hours doing something that doesn't motivate you with people you don't care about.  You're in traffic, it is smoggy....you're burnt out.     Wait! It is 6:00 PM you're on a live-aboard dive boat on the seas of the Galapagos Islands with a Jimmy Buffett tune in your head.  There is a deep blue ocean with a warm pleasant breeze, an orange sun is setting, a crescent moon is taking form and Venus is starting to appear.  You're reminiscing with your friends about the hammerhead sharks, the millions of fish, and the whale shark ride you will never forget.  Your senses are heightened, your spirit is in bloom........You're alive!

Wanta swim with a 35-foot gentle giant whale shark?  Go with Galapagos Adventures and their crew to Darwin.  See my wife on the website page from the November 2000 trip.  That was the premier highlight of many: swimming with mantas, hammerheads, other sharks, dolphins, sea lions, and penguins; walking right up to iguanas, blue-footed boobies and giant tortoises.  Ken, Fabricio, Ruly and the rest of the crew kept us comfortable and catered to our every need.  They were great!

A first class experience from start to finish!  Galapagos Adventures makes sure that you get through the airports and onto the islands with the least amount of hassle.  Then, the fun starts as soon as you get on the boat.  You are taken on exotic land excursions to visit with sea lions, lizards, and countless species of exotic birds.  Oh, and did I mention the dives?  You get to see moray eels, starfish, stingrays, eagle rays, golden rays, hammerheads, reef sharks, whale sharks!  We saw three whale sharks in a single day of diving at Darwin!  Who could expect anything more?  If you're still not satisfied, how about snorkeling with more sea lions and Galapagos penguins?  The climate is spectacular and this is one vacation you will definitely want to give a try.

The entire trip was like a Jacque Cousteau film.  It's the diving trip I've been waiting for all my 20+ years of diving all over the world!!!

The trip fulfilled all expectations from large schools of hammerheads, whale sharks, sea lions and rays to large schools of numerous smaller marine life. The best dive trip of our 15+ years of diving.

To say it is a trip of a lifetime is an understatement- the underwater and above-ground land visits led by passionate guides were spectacular.  The Galapagos are a nature lover's paradise, and Galapagos Adventures has the experience and knowledge to show them to you thoroughly, and in style.

At the enchanted islands of the Galapagos one experiences nature's innocence by becoming one with nature. These creatures show no fear of man and let us approach within a few feet without getting nervous both on land and in the Pacific water. How I loved looking at the boobies nurture their eggs and fluffy babies. How I loved seeing the sea lion puppies suckle milk from their mum while dad protectively barks at intruders. How I loved watching the pelicans and frigates in free flight . And how I loved my own weightless flight underwater…
A magical experience with a humpback whale, whale shark, clouds of hammerheads, schools of eagle rays, acrobatic sea lions showing their superiority in movement  we will never be able to achieve. But experience it we can! The Mistral provided these close up encounters. Thank you for sharing the enchantment.

The trip exceeded our expectations.   The Galapagos Islands are a magical place unlike anywhere else in the world.  We had the opportunity to explore both the undersea world and the amazing landscape.    The diving was awesome, we saw unique sea life that will forever be ingrained in our memories.  Ken did a great job of organizing our Millennium trip of a lifetime.

I've been looking forward to this trip for 6 months primarily for the diving, and I was not disappointed. It's certainly the "primo" destination not just for sharks but the quantities of them. The Whale shark off Darwin was the highlight.  The land tours and birds though normally not my scene I found equally interesting.
A well organized trip that was much appreciated that I can recommend to my friends. Many thanks and hope to see you on another trip sometime.

Thank you, Ken, for organizing such a marvelous and memorable millennium diving trip.  You have increased my diving skills and enhanced my appreciation of the genetics and ecology of these unique incomparable Galapagos islands.  I will be joining you on another trip in the future!

We enjoyed the our Galapagos adventure immensely.  The diving was excellent with massive amounts of marine life in the quality and quantity not found anywhere else in the world.  The land excursions, which proved to be enjoyable and interesting, broke up the pace so that each day could be looked forward to as a separate adventure.  The trip was well organized and hassle free.  Ken is to be congratulated as he hosted a safe, rewarding and unforgettable trip.  Thanks from both of us.
