Covid Protocols as of June 11, 2022

All travelers 3 years of age and older entering Ecuador or the Galapagos Islands must present a complete COVID-19 vaccination card with at least 14 days validity.

Unvaccinated travelers will not be able to enter either Ecuador or the Galapagos Islands.

 

Children 2 and under must present a negative PCR test OR a negative Antigen test result taken up to 72 hours prior to departure to Ecuador or Galapagos.


All travelers must present the Traveler's Health Declaration upon arriving in Ecuador. You can fill out and print a copy before you leave home at this website

When entering the Galapagos travelers must show the same international certificate used to enter Ecuador (i.e. your vaccination card).   


The CDC no longer requires passengers who board international flights to the US to show a negative Covid test.  

 

Keep in mind that Ecuador has changed their Covid protocols numbers times in the past year based on what is happening at the time with the virus, Covid protocol could change between now and your travel date.
