Tony Austin’s
Galapagos Adventure
Feb 11 - 21, 2021!

Here is your chance to experience the enchanted islands with a group of your friends from Lake Toxaway lead by Tony Austin AKA “Toxaway Tony”. This 11 day/ 10 night adventure will be February 11 - 21, 2021 and will include a 8 day/ 7 night cruise on board the luxury yacht Camila! If Tony gave you this web address he is personally inviting to you participate on this very special trip with him.
Maximum number of tour participates is 16.
Space will be sold first come, first serve.

The Galapagos Islands are located 600 miles west of Ecuador and offer some of the most spectacular wildlife found anywhere in the world. Nowhere else on this planet will you find penguins which live on the equator (The Galapagos Penguin) or iguanas which swim and feed in the ocean (The Marine Iguanas)! Because these islands have only recently been invaded by man, the literally 1000s of animals that inhabit these islands have never learned to fear us. This means that you can literally walk right up to hundreds of blue-footed boobie birds, red-footed boobie birds, masked boobie birds, albatrosses, penguins, land iguanas, marine iguanas, lava lizards, sea lions, fur seals, red-chested frigate birds, flamingos, finches, tropic birds, lava gulls, giant tortoises, and flightless cormorants. Ask ANYONE you know that has been here and they will tell you it is FANTASTIC!

The price:
The base price of this trip is $8375 per person. This is approximately $2000 LESS per person than an almost identical trip organized by the World Wild Life Fund. https://www.nathab.com/galapagos/galapagos-islands-adventure/dates-fees/
The price includes a 7 night/ 8 day tour of Galapagos on the luxury class yacht Camila, all meals and tours while in Galapagos, RT airline tickets from Guayaquil to Galapagos, your transit control card (TCC), 3 nights in Guayaquil Ecuador (2 nights before the cruise and 1 night after), breakfast in the mainland each day, a tour of Guayaquil, and all your airport transfers while in Ecuador.
The price does NOT include the cost of your international flight to Guayaquil, Ecuador, meals in Guayaquil other than breakfast, the Galapagos National Park fee ($100 pp – paid in cash when you arrive into Galapagos), crew/guide tips, bar tabs, your personal expenses, or any other expense which is not specifically stated as being included.
Potential price adjustments:
The price is based on double occupancy in both the hotel and on the yacht. If you want a single room in Guayaquil it will raise the price of your trip by $300 (because you are not sharing the cost of the room with anyone else). A single cabin on the Camila adds $7225 to the price of the tour.
The cost of the airline tickets to Galapagos from mainland Ecuador is based on 2020 rates and may increase slightly in 2021 but we will not know the exact price until late 2020 or even early 2021. Many times but not always the airlines will honor the price for reservations made this far in advance. Should the cost of these tickets increase, the cost of the tour will also increase.
The cost of the TCC (which is government document used to keep track of everyone that enters Galapagos) and the Galapagos National Park are subject to change right up until the day of departure. These increases – if any - should be very modest.
Deposits
A 25% deposit is required to confirm your space with the balance due 90 days prior to departure. This tour is limited to a maximum of 16 participants
Airport city Modification
People who prefer to route through Quito instead of Guayaquil can do so for a slight increase in price.
Optional Extensions
Ecuador is a wonderful country with lots of things to see and do. Tours can be added to this trip for people wishing to spend addition time in Ecuador. It is also possible to add an extension to Peru for people who wish to continue on to Peru/Machu Picchu.
